PART-TIME ASSISTANT PASTOR/DIRECTOR OF NEXT GENERATION MINISTRIES

This will involve developing and implementing a plan of how we can nurture our children into young adults who are Christ-like and fulfilling God¹s purpose for their lives. He/she will give oversight to our children, youth and young adult ministries. This person needs to work closely with the congregation in learning to love each other well and teach the three age groups the same. The position will begin on a part-time basis involving 20 hours per week.

West Springs FMC - FAMILY MINISTRIES DIRECTOR

Nature of the Work: Oversee the children’s program (from birth to grade 6), under the guidance and leadership of the Senior Pastor. He/She will work with a team of volunteers who will assist in the various aspects of the ministry. The director must be able to relate to all age levels of children, be a good communicator with children as well as volunteers and parents, and be a self-motivator. This person must be in agreement with the Free Methodist Church’s doctrine and polity, and must live an exemplary life that honors God and His Word.
